K-Life is not only an organization and ministry, but it is a responsibility. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for K-Life then we are really excited! In volunteering for K-Life, you will not only get to hang out with kids and other leaders, but you will take on the responsibility of making sure the kids involved in our ministry are protected physically, emotionally, and spiritually!
When I think of K-Life the word "Life" really sticks out! Volunteering for K-Life is volunteering to live life with kids of all ages. We have a calling to make disciples and love like Jesus loved, teach what Jesus taught, and serve like Jesus served. As a team who is trying to do this as best as we can, we are first responsible for our own relationship with Jesus!
If you want to be a K-Life leader we WANT to hold you accountable to the following:
Personal Level
1. Spending time in God's Word
2. Spending time in prayer
3. Attending church regularly and are involved
4. Personal accountability (drinking, drugs, sex)
5. Who is discipling you??
K-Life Level
1. Attending clubs and events
2. If you lead a small group, meeting at least once a week.
3. Attending leader meetings
4. Contact Journals (ministry accountability)
